this is alton brown's recipe. it's really important that you make it with gorgonzola as called for. regular bleu cheese is too strong.
blend the following in a blender:
4 oz gorgonzola
1/3 sour cream (i use greek yogurt)
1/3 C buttermilk
1/4 C mayo
1 T white wine vinegar
1/4 t worcestershire
1/4 t freshly ground pepper
