Magelby's Syrup

This is BEST syrup in the universe!

Magelby’s Syrup

1 stick butter

1 c sugar

½ c buttermilk

1 Tbsp Karo Syrup

1 Tbsp vanilla

Bring ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat and add ½ tsp baking soda. Stir vigorously with a whisk. The soda makes syrup puff up. Let stand for 10 minutes and microwave before serving.
